We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will
have extensive experience in payroll management, with a strong emphasis on compliance, reconciliations, onboarding,
tax jurisdictions, and the validation of pay models for commissions. This role requires a proactive leader who can
ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Develop a robust partnership with the third-party payroll provider and ensure timely follow-up on all
submitted issues and concerns.
Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Stay updated on changes in payroll
laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Perform regular payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with the
accounting team to reconcile payroll accounts.
Work with HR team to ensure the correct setup of new hires in the payroll system, including accurate entry of
personal information, tax details, and benefits. Review all position and pay changes prior to the next payroll
and confirm accuracy of the changes made in the payroll system.
Work with our 3rd Party Payroll provider to establish filing privileges of new tax jurisdictions for all
employees, ensuring compliance with various state and local tax requirements.
Validate and manage pay models for commissions, ensuring they are accurately calculated and paid out. Work
closely with the sales, production and IT teams to address any issues or discrepancies.
Generate and review payroll reports for management, providing insights and recommendations for
improvements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance payroll operations.
Set performance goals for the team and conduct regular performance reviews with team member(s). Promote
a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in payroll management, with a focus on compliance and reconciliations.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Experience with payroll software and systems (e.g., Paycom, Paylocity, ADP).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
