- This position is on-site in Baton Rouge, LA. Must be located in Louisiana.
JOB PURPOSE OR MISSION : Provides software support to internal customers for applicable operating system and associated subsystems. Provide system-level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems. Manages and sets priorities for maintaining, upgrading and efficiently using applicable software systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to :
1. Core Responsibilities
Acting as the primary support contact for the application's end-usersIdentifying issues that arise in their application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and working to resolve themGuiding workflow design, building, and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic softwareIdentifying and implementing requested changes to the systemServing as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staffMaintaining regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetingsWorking with Epic representatives, your organization's business community, and end users to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs regarding the project deliverables and timelineDeveloping an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessionsParticipating in training and working with end usersTroubleshooting problems and questionsReviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadershipHolding weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones2. Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
2 - 5 years in related field
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
BS / BA in Information Technology strongly preferred.
SPECIAL SKILL, LICENSE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Experience with personal computers (2-3 years) (ex. e-mail or internet).
PC hardware troubleshooting experience helpful.
Application analysts gain in-depth knowledge of the software by attending training at Epic and completing application certification projects and tests
HIPAA REQUIREMENTS :
Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable HIPAA regulations appropriate to Job Position including but not limited to : medical record without limitation, patient demographics, lab results, patient financial and 3 rd party billing information, patients related complaints, information related to patient location.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS :
Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable safety practices appropriate to Job Position including but not limited to : incident reporting, exposure control plan, hand washing for all age groups.
