Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will sell machining services to new and existing customers across various industries including Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power Generation, Commercial/Inland Marine, Mining, and general industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Introduce and position Baton Rouge Machine Works Company as the technical leader in Machining services through the presentation of the company value proposition.
- Drive revenue growth through new account acquisition and expansion of existing business
- Position company as the technical leader in machining and metrology services through value proposition presentations
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for assigned territory
- Secure and follow up on RFQs through on-site meetings and customer presentations
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand and communicate customer needs
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and maintain professional customer relationships
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
- Assist in quote preparation and proactively drive quote conversion
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in sales, business development, marketing, engineering, or communications
- Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience & Skills
- 2-5 years of sales experience in machine shop, field machining, metrology, or similar technical service offering
- Industry experience in any of the following: Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, Marine, Power Generation
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to comprehend complex mechanical concepts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce or HubSpot)
- Strong analytical skills including ability to work with mathematical concepts and statistical analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to all levels of an organization
- Self-motivated with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Up to 60% travel to customer sites
- Work environment includes shop floor exposure to machinery, equipment, and moderate noise
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and navigate industrial environments
- Valid driver's license required
