Job Overview :
Insurance verification specific to outpatient occupationaland physical therapy for all major medical payers, as well as obtaining andtracking prior authorizations as required by insurance. Claims processingincludes denials and collections on Insurance Claims.
Seeking a professional, organized, and detail-orientedperson, who can work with a high volume of patients across satellite locations,as well as honor deadlines, multitask, and grow within the department.
Qualifications :
Basic computer skills are required includingtyping / navigating websites / familiar with PDF files, and scanning.
As well as a basic knowledge of types of insurance carriersand benefit terminology such as deductibles and copays.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting.
