Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to support the Sales Manager in driving revenue growth and managing key client relationships. As an Assistant to the Sales Manager, you will handle administrative tasks, coordinate sales processes, and ensure the team operates efficiently. This role is vital to maintaining smooth communication between clients, the sales team, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:
- Manage the Sales Manager’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, client calls, and internal discussions.
- Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports for sales meetings.
- Maintain and update client databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
2. Sales Coordination:
- Assist in preparing sales proposals, contracts, and follow-up correspondence.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics and KPIs.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, content production) to ensure deliverables align with client expectations.
3. Client Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients in the Sales Manager’s absence.
- Handle inquiries, provide information, and resolve minor issues promptly.
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
4. Miscellaneous Duties:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and new business opportunities.
- Stay informed about company products, services, and media industry developments.
- Take on other duties as needed to support the Sales Manager and team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an administrative or sales support role, preferably in the media industry.
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
