Reporting to the Process and Data Systems group, you will apply software engineering principles, theories, and concepts to complex analytical processes, information display and visualization. Projects could include working on project teams developing systems and applications enhancing work in the Environmental, Health, Emergency Management, Radiological Controls, and Quality divisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, architects, and business partners to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have an understanding and experience with the following programming languages : ASP.NET, C, C#, C , SharePoint, HTML / CSS, PL / SQL, and R. This team works a 9x80 schedule, and works onsite at our Idaho Falls campus. Start date and duration of internship vary based on project and student availability. You may be eligible for course credit for this internship if approved by your university.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
Undergraduate or graduate-level master's student enrolled full time at an accredited college / university studying Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics
A minimum overall (3.0) GPA
Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits :
Undergraduate Internships ($25.65 / hour - $30.70 / hour)
Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($31.75 / hour - $34.06 / hour)
PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75 / hour - $36.06 / hour)
