JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the quality of all services provided by direct service staff. Ensuring staff follow policies & procedures to the highest ethical standards. Works closely with the Executive & Operations Director to identify program needs and addressing those needs. Responsible for the supervision of assigned staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Review program client files on a regular basis in order to ensure compliance with program and funding regulations. Assist in form revision as needed.

2. Improve and/or develop data reporting processes with each program. Complete data reporting and submit to the Executive and/or Operations Director for submission with invoices.

3. Work with program supervisor to submit weekly or monthly reporting to the Executive & Operations Director and revise standardized format as needed.

4. Serve as a liaison between direct service staff and the Executive and/or Operations Director.

5. Attend all shelter and agency meetings.

6. Serve as “Acting Shelter Manager” in the absence of the Shelter Manager.

7. Conduct Human Resource tasks for those programs supervised e.g. advertising, interviewing, completing background checks, mediation, addressing grievances, reinforcing program policy, completing documentation for personnel/employee records, strategizing best ways to address complaints and recommending action, coordinate mandatory training for staff & ensure training compliance by setting deadlines, etc.

8. Participate in attending and/or hosting outreach events. Coordinating with program supervisors to ensure staff availability to participate in outreach events. Attendance is based on program funding availability.

9. Assist in and observe outreach educational presentations, provide feedback for staff development, review presentation material to ensure appropriateness and professionalism.

10. Assist with facilitating group sessions for the Batterer Intervention Program as required.

11. Supervise program volunteers & workforce interns and assist with volunteer & workforce intern application/onboarding. Assist with monitoring volunteers completing community service hours (who do not have DV related offenses) and ensure documentation is completed as requested.

12. Follow policies and procedures in accordance with Battered Families.

13. Other duties in addition to those listed above.

14. Healthy Boundaries - Must demonstrate ability to maintain healthy boundaries with staff supervised and with outside organizations.

SCHEDULE

(8) hour shift, M-F, after hour availability for activities/outreach

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Work, Human Services or a related field preferred and two (2) or more years of domestic violence, or related field experience.

Requirements

· Clean driving record

· Negative TB test

· Complete a background check

FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

The Program Manager is employed at-will, which means he/she may be terminated for any reason or no reason.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
