Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Pricing to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability while ensuring market competitiveness. This role will lead a high-performing team and drive pricing initiatives across multiple channels, including online, in-store, retail, and B2B. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in pricing analytics, competitive intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue growth and margin improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Implement Pricing Strategies: Design and execute data-driven pricing strategies to enhance profitability, market share, and competitiveness across all sales channels.
Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviors to inform pricing decisions.
Price Optimization: Utilize advanced analytics and pricing software to optimize product pricing, promotions, and discounting strategies tailored to each channel.
Margin Management: Ensure gross margin improvement while achieving sales targets.
Competitive Intelligence: Gather and analyze industry pricing data to maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
Price Elasticity & Demand Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to determine appropriate pricing levels for various products and services.
A/B Testing & Pilot Programs: Evaluate pricing changes' impact on sales and profitability across different markets.
Governance & Compliance: Establish pricing policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all operations.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing pricing team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
7 years of experience in pricing strategy, preferably in online, in-store, retail, and B2B environments.
Proven track record of implementing pricing initiatives that drive revenue growth and profitability.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in pricing software and analytics tools.
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
