What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Team Member position at Battimelli's A&S Italian Fine Foods?
The individual will be working in the middle kitchen doing kitchen-prep work. Your day-day tasks will be filling back ups like chopping lettuce, tomato, and Mozzarella cheese for our deli staff. Making and merchandising prepared take-home dinners. Breading chicken cutlets and eggplant cutlets. You will also be responsible for assisting in clean up at the end of the night if you are on the later shift.
There are two shifts available. There is a morning shift that starts at 8am and an afternoon shift. We are open Tuesday-Sunday. Tuesday - Friday is 9am - 6pm (retail hours). Saturday is 9am - 5pm (retail hours). Sunday is 9am -2pm (retail hours). We are here at 8am everyday and for about an hour cleaning up after we close.
After a period of time you will start to be trained as a sous chef or working on the deli counter! So there is a lot of room to grow and earn higher wages with this position.
Tasks:
- Prepping Back-ups for deli
- Packing out prepared dinners
- Filling soda and freezer case
- Filling salads in the salad case
- Bread and fry chicken and eggplant cutlets
- Any necessary tasks directed by managerial staff
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
