What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen (Back of House) Team Member position at Chick-fil-A?
Role Summary: Back of House/Kitchen Team members learn and work various positions in the kitchen to prepare, cook, and assemble all menu items with quality, speed, accuracy prioritizing food safety. While experience can be helpful, no experience is necessary. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who enjoy serving others and working on a team. We will teach you everything else you need to know.
General responsibilities:
- comply with all Chick-fil-A policies and procedures for the handling and preparation of food
- prepare food orders with accuracy, speed, quality and food safety
- follow all food safety guidelines
- clean and maintain an orderly kitchen
- clean and restock workstations and supplies
- read order screens (KPS) effectively to ensure order accuracy rate
- be cross-trained in many, if not all, of kitchen positions
