The ELC is currently comprised of three pre-K classrooms, each with a lead and associate teacher. Position Summary: Battle Ground Academy is currently seeking an innovative and engaging lead preschool teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will integrate a keen sense of intellectual curiosity with a deep conceptual understanding of best practices in instruction and early childhood development; possess enthusiasm for learning and a growth mindset; and actively support the school’s mission. Excellent communication skills, a passion for working with young children and their families, and a positive, servant-leader attitude are essential. Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education, Child Studies, Child Development, Early Childhood Development or related field; preference given to candidates with Master of Education degree
- Relevant teaching experience in a licensed pre-K program or kindergarten classroom
- Proficient in the use of computer applications as required
