The Executive Assistant to the Head of School is a pivotal force in ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s leadership, acting as the right hand to the Head of School. This highly visible role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and excels at providing executive-level support with discretion, efficiency, and professionalism. As the Head of School’s trusted partner, the Executive Assistant plays an integral role in fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and community engagement.
Candidates will:
- Act as a strategic partner to the Head of School, managing daily priorities, scheduling, and ensuring seamless operations.
- Take ownership of special projects as assigned, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Head of School and internal/external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships with faculty, staff, students, parents, and trustees.
- Contribute to a positive and professional office culture, embodying the school’s values in all interactions.
- Anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions to support the Head’s effectiveness.
- Exercise sound judgment in handling confidential matters with diplomacy and discretion.
- Oversee coordination and execution of faculty and staff meetings, including agenda preparation.
- Assist in planning and executing board meetings and key school initiatives and events.
- Maintain and optimize the Head’s calendar, balancing strategic priorities and day-to-day demands.
- Manage the Head of School’s travel arrangements and expense reporting.
Requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant to a senior leader in education or a corporate setting.
- Demonstrated success in supporting executives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Expertise in managing complex calendars, coordinating high-stakes meetings, and handling confidential communications.
