Summary / Objective : The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and policies. The role involves reviewing AP / AR registers, validating charges, ensuring timely payments and receipts, and improving accounting methods and procedures. The manager will also design and implement standard policies to maintain accurate and compliant financial records. Key Responsibilities : Accounts Payable / Receivable Management : Verifies, tracks, and processes all AP, AR, and contract-related functions. Manage vendor payables including onboarding and all forms of payment. Processes customer payments, grower payables, and handles bank deposits. Communicates with customers, suppliers, and vendors regarding AP / AR matters. Crop pool accounting Data Management : Verifies and records incoming USDA grower documentation. Tracks and manages grower contracts and payments. Manage inventory and statements for the grower pool. GL Maintenance and account reconciliation. Manage and maintain the GL all subledgers and chart of accounts. Reporting : Generates reports to assess collections, account ages, and other important metrics. Performs quarterly and annual reporting verifications. Almond Board and statement reporting.
