Title: Sales Director - West Coast
Job Summary:
The Sales Director - West Coast creates demand, establishes market relationships and closes specifying opportunities with new and existing end users and through distribution partners. Establishes goals and training programs for sales representatives and holds representative agencies accountable for regional growth. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers. Serve as the Primary point of contact to the market place for a given geographical region of the U.S. (CA, OR, WA, MT, ID, WY, CO, UT, NV, AZ, NM, AK, HI)

- Achieve budgeted sales goals for Region.
- Manage expenses to allocated budget monthly.
- Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of products.
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
- Review sales reports to project sales and determine profitability.
- Manage regional and local sales rep groups and their staff.
- Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.
- Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
- Confer with potential customers regarding design and needs. Become subject matter expert on tabletop products for local and regional end users and dealers.
- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
Physical Requirements:
75% estimated travel per month expected.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
