SUMMARY:
The Chef is responsible for leading and participating in the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of salads, grab and go’s, take home meals, soups, meats, vegetables, desserts or other foods. Assist Executive Chef to plan and price menu items, and keep records and accounts. Schedules pre-meeting with retail team on food items being served and review possible allergens. May be required to receive and put away stock. Good time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of culinary school or equivalent on the job training program preferred.
Experience: minimum 1-year previous work experience. Previous experience working with a culinary team preferred.
Certifications: Certificate of Achievement in ServSafe Manager within 6 months from date of hire.
Other: Working knowledge of computer systems to include, Microsoft Office and other position related software.
