PCU Nurse Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled PCU Nurse Specialist to join our team at Baxter Health. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a focus on progressive care units. They will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as collaborating with healthcare professionals to promote evidence-based practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and providing leadership within the nursing team.
- Utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served through the model of Shared Governance.
- Collaborating with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
Requirements for this role include an ADN or BSN degree, a current RN license, and relevant experience and certifications.
