Maintenance Supervisor - Production (1st shift)

This role:

The Maintenance Supervisor works as a key member of a high-performance team responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations and equipment in a pharmaceutical production environment. This position reports to the Facility Maintenance Manager. This is 1st shift position (M-F) and is 100% onsite at the Bloomington facility.

Theresponsibilities:

• Provide daily guidance and support for a team of maintenance technicians in addition to performing hands-on maintenance support to production
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical/mechanical production (aseptic processing) equipment failures
• Attending daily shift change production meetings to be the point of contact for operations customer
• Ensures alignment of priorities and resources for routine and non-routine maintenance activities
• Responsible for shift participation in developing, monitoring, and timely performance of preventative maintenance procedures, tracking of equipment component failures, and making recommendations for increased long-term reliability

Required qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent education
• 10 years industrial maintenance experience in a multi craft environment
• 5 years supervisory/leadership/people management experience in maintenance
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Suite proficiency
• Detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical and fluid power systems

Physical / safety requirements:

• Able to achieve Aseptic 10K Gowning Certification and wear personal protective equipment, as applicable
• Must be able to lift, push/pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
• May be required to stand for over 4 hours per day
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds overhead
• Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends
