Key Responsibilities:

• Triage & Assessment: 

  • Assist with the initial assessment of incoming patients and provide critical support to the veterinary team to ensure efficient care delivery

• Patient Care: 

  • Provide hands-on care, including preparing and assisting with treatments, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining comfort for hospitalized patients

• Technical Assistance: 

  • Support diagnostic procedures such as radiology, laboratory tests, and ultrasounds by preparing equipment and patients

• Client Communication: 

  • Work closely with pet owners to explain discharge instructions, provide follow-up care guidance, and offer reassurance during stressful situations

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in emergency veterinary medicine is preferred, but a strong passion for learning and growth is equally valued

• Skills: Basic technical skills such as drawing blood, administering medications, and catheter placement are a plus

• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support patients, clients, and the veterinary team
