Description :
A facility is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to support Surgical Services and collaborate with physicians in delivering exceptional patient care.
The role may include assignments in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, or ENT.
Responsibilities include providing needed procedures, including assisting in surgery, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the scope of practice, assisting in room setup and turnover, and performing other duties as assigned.
You will assist the operative team as directed by OR management.
Maintaining sterile techniques at all times in surgery is crucial.
Strong effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
Maintain confidentiality and the ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision.
Regular, consistent attendance and punctuality at the assigned job location are essential.
Interpersonal skills are necessary to work productively with patients, families, healthcare staff, and other departments.
Take personal responsibility for ongoing educational growth and collaborate with others for patient quality solutions.
Basic computer skills are needed, with periodic use of a personal computer.
Meeting criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privileges is necessary.
