Deckhand

```Duties```
As a Deckhand, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation and maintenance of the vessel. Your duties will include:

- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and painting
- Operating and maintaining machinery and equipment
- Assisting with navigation and steering under the direction of the Captain
- Ensuring the safety of passengers and crew members
- Assisting with docking and undocking procedures including line handling
- Participating in emergency drills and procedures

- Customer service, guest check-in and comfort

- Event set-up including movement of tables, chairs, catering supplies, and bar stock

```Skills```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Mechanical Knowledge: Basic understanding of vessel machinery and equipment.
- Hospitality: Ability to provide excellent customer service to passengers.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with passengers and provide assistance when needed.

```Requirements```
- Pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing are conditions of employment.

- Ability to become CPR and First-Aid certified.

Please note that previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evenings as needed
• Weekends as needed

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
