Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sharing information and creating memorable experiences for visitors. As a Tour Guide, you will lead our passengers through various sites as we travel aboard the excursion boat Princess Wenonah, providing engaging narratives and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage time effectively while educating guests about the history and significance of the sites.
Duties
- Conduct guided tours for groups of various sizes, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Communicate effectively with guests, providing clear and informative commentary throughout the tour.
- Educate visitors on the historical, cultural, and social significance of the locations being visited.
- Address any questions or concerns from guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall visitor experience.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for visitors.
- Proficient public speaking skills to engage audiences of varying sizes confidently.
- A passion for education and sharing knowledge about cultural or historical topics related to the tour content.
- Previous experience in hospitality, education, or related fields is a plus but not required.
