Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-oriented Food Server to join our team. As a Food Server, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests receive an exceptional dining experience by providing excellent service, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive atmosphere and building customer loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly, warm, and welcoming attitude.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correct.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation and accuracy.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and drinks, based on guest preferences.
- Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing and resetting tables.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure food is prepared and served in accordance with company standards.
- Assist with refilling beverages, condiments, and any special requests.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of food and beverages.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service, addressing any special dietary needs or concerns.
- Keep track of guest preferences and repeat customers to ensure a personalized experience.
- Support other team members and help with cleaning, stocking, and setting up dining areas as needed.
- Previous experience as a food server or in a customer service role is preferred.
