Key Responsibilities :
To assist in coordination and implementation of programs and services for the residents with cognitive impairment; to provide a therapeutic environment that maintains each resident’s highest level of physical, social, and psychological well-being.
Qualifications for Memory Care Coordinator :
Life Enrichment Director, Memory Care or Dementia certified is required.
Prior experience in caring for people with dementia and in developing and facilitating activity programs, preferably as a director with a specialized dementia program.
Previous leadership experience in a specialized dementia program preferred.
Knowledge of and experience with program facilitation and activity program development.
Knowledge of and experience with caring for persons with dementia
- A degree in a related (nursing, social services, therapeutic recreation, music therapy, art therapy) field preferred.
