The Enrollment Support Specialist plays a vital part in student recruitment for all academic divisions at Bay Path University. This position is perfect for a highly motivated and dedicated individual who thrives when working independently.
This role supports recruitment efforts by engaging with website visitors, answering phone calls, making outbound calls to potential students, and communicating through written means. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with website visitors via live chat, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting Bay Path University to support recruitment and admission.
- Responding to incoming calls and representing the University in an engaging, informative, and professional manner.
- Making outbound calls for specific campaigns, such as event reminders, admissions deadlines, re-engagement, and recruitment outreach.
- Logging all student interactions via a CRM or other mechanism.
- Attending required trainings.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the University.
The successful candidate will have:
- An Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
- A basic working knowledge of all three academic divisions: Traditional Undergraduate, The American Women's College, and Graduate School.
- A passion for adult women students and the ability to connect with students throughout their educational journey.
- Strong desire to enable women to succeed while being passionate about Bay Path's mission and strengths.
- The capacity and willingness to learn about university support services, including financial aid, career services, advising, registrar, etc.
- An energetic and positive attitude when working independently or collaboratively within a team.
- The ability to represent the University professionally, recruit from diverse communities, and follow policies and procedures with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including listening and negotiation abilities.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to FERPA and HIPAA guidelines.
- The ability to adhere to University COVID-19 testing, symptom tracking, and other established protocols.
- A general knowledge of the University's mission, purpose, and goals, as well as the role this position plays in achieving those goals.
