Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support transportation management of Ready Mix Concrete. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage customer inquiries will be essential in ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Manage customer expectations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Utilize transportation management systems shipments and provide updates.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date customer records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist in transportation planning by coordinating logistics and scheduling shipments.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in freight and 3PL services.
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills..
- Familiarity with truck operations and transportation management principles.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically in a short time frame.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
