Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Reports to: Branch Manager/Operations Manager
If you have experience in the Fastener Industry that is a big plus!
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of managerial, administrative, and physical functions to ensure:
- Supervision of warehouse personnel.
- Orders are shipped on time without errors.
- Maintain warehouse facilities, as well as all equipment and trucks.
- Accurately stores and protects the company’s inventory and supplies.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Supervise shipping, receiving, order pulling, packaging, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
2. Conduct ongoing training of warehouse personnel.
3. Coaches employees on performance and best business practices for all warehouse personnel and drivers.
4. Oversee warehouse facility maintenance and cleanliness.
5. Efficiently and accurately store product/inventory.
6. Conduct safety meetings and training for the Stockton Warehouse employees. Document training for all direct reports.
7. Coordinate the flow of orders.
8. Communicate shipping and receiving information to sales and purchasing.
9. Maintain service vendor relationships.
10. Process purchase orders and transfers.
11. Route drivers.
12. Maintain and order all warehouse supplies.
13. Responsible for all capital equipment and maintenance, quotes, repairs, and purchases. (Approved by Operations Manager or Corporate)
14. Assists in pulling orders, cutting threaded-rod using a saw, loading delivery trucks, and providing excellent customer service.
15. Recruitment - interview candidates for open positions.
16. Terminations - work with HR and Operations manager for involuntary and voluntary terminations.
Qualifications: Previous Warehouse Experience, Forklift, and Supervisory Experience Required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
