Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients according to recipes.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines and health regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Support chefs and cooks in executing menu items and special requests.
- Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting low inventory levels.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
