As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA), you will lead with compassion and oversee the operations of a healthcare facility dedicated to providing exceptional care for elderly residents. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, fostering a positive environment for residents and families, and driving continuous improvement in the quality of care. Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) Responsibilities :
- Manage the overall operation of the facility, including oversight of daily operations, clinical care, resident and family relationships, and employee morale and development.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the nursing home industry.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to ensure the nursing home is providing quality care and services.
- Work with management and staff to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to achieve them.
- Manage the annual budget for the nursing home facility, review financial statements, and manage expenses.
- Ensure that all staff members are communicating effectively with residents, families, and other stakeholders, and that all communication is respectful, timely, and accurate.
- Maintain a positive culture within the nursing home facility and encourage teamwork and collaboration among all staff members.
- Ensure that residents and their families are satisfied with the level of care and service provided by the nursing home facility.
- Coordinate with medical personnel to ensure residents receive the highest possible standard of care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that govern the overall operations of the nursing home
- Hire, train, and manage staff to ensure proper delivery of care to the residents
- Develop and maintain budgets to ensure financial stability of the nursing home and improve the quality of services provided
- Develop relationships with the residents and their families to make sure they are comfortable and satisfied with the care provided
- Manage admissions and discharge procedures according to state and federal regulations
- Implement quality improvement and risk management programs that continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing home's services
- Ensure that the nursing home operates in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with community groups and local businesses to promote the nursing home and develop positive relationships
- Maintain and develop relationships with healthcare providers in the community
- Ensure the facility is always clean, safe and welcoming
