BAYADA Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will work directly with students in the classroom to reduce challenging behaviors, increase functional skills, and foster independence and individuality.
About This Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children with Autism and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs). As an RBT, you will be working closely with clients and school teams to establish and maintain relationships, respect their values, thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes.
Work directly with students in the classroom, following the established service plan
Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams
Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers to support the student in the classroom environment
Document interventions and progress towards goals
Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan
Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the student acquire and maintain skills and meet identified goals
Supports school age children to succeed with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
