What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Home Health Care position at BAYADA Home Health Care?
BAYADA Home Health Care seeks an experienced leader to direct Medicare Certified services in Hudson and Essex Counties. As Director, you will lead a team of professionals in maintaining high levels of client care and customer service while managing all aspects of business operations.
This role requires prior Home Health or health care management experience, with knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation preferred.
Your day may involve
- Managing the office, including business development, budgeting, planning, recruiting, and fiscal management.
- Monitoring staff performance to ensure quality and compliance, as well as providing education, training, and evaluation.
- Leading and motivating your team to provide exceptional care.
- Building relationships with employees, referral sources, and community resources.
To be successful in this role, you should have
- At least 3 years of management experience within a Medicare Certified Home Care Agency.
- Experience building and leading teams, as well as coaching and mentoring others.
- Knowledge of Medicare COPs for Home Care.
- Clinical licensure as an RN or PT is a plus.
- Experience with Home Care Home Base or similar EMR software.
- A track record of goal achievement and taking on increased responsibility with positive results.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good judgment and a commitment to ongoing learning.
