About the Role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes throughout Schuylkill County.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess clients' physical abilities and create personalized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic tests, including mobility assessments, strength evaluations, and balance testing.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions, such as manual therapeutic exercises and gait training.
- Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using electronic medical records.
Requirements
- A current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
