About the Job
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide ongoing care and support to adults and geriatric clients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess clients' needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility assessments, strength evaluations, and balance testing.
- Implement manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions to promote client independence and safety.
- Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for optimal health and well-being.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using electronic medical records (EMR).
Requirements
- Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license.
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills and prior experience with EMR preferred.
