Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Glen Arm, Maryland. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric clients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Perform home visits to assess client needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and measurements to evaluate client function and mobility.
- Implement manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions to promote client health and safety.
- Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations in a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
Requirements
- A current MD Physical Therapist license.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
