Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time opportunity in Kendall Park, New Jersey.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary healthcare team to provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes throughout Somerset and Middlesex Counties.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluation results, physician's orders, and recommended goals.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided using state-of-the-art technology.
Qualifications:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in NJ.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or have equivalent educational requirements and work experience.
- Solid computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
