BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to serve patients in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. As a Speech Therapist with Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA, you will use your clinical skills and compassion to treat patients in the comfort of their own home.
You will see a client through their care needs – from hospital discharge to living a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity.
The ideal candidate will possess a current license as a Speech Language Pathologist, a minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Speech Therapist, and a calm and reassuring presence with active listening skills, excellent assessment skills, and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities:
- See a client through their care needs – from hospital discharge to living a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity.
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients who are experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop a treatment plan based on the evaluation, physician's orders, and recommended goals.
- Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan and participate with BAYADA clinicians in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
Requirements:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Speech Therapist
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or have the equivalent educational requirements and work experience necessary for such a certificate
- Able to travel to cases as assigned
