BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide home health services in Avalon, New Jersey.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SLP to join our team and provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and be able to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluation results and physician's orders
- Continuously assess and revise treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living
Requirements
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in NJ
- A certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or equivalent education and work experience
- Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
