Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Cape May Court House, NJ. As an integral member of the team, you will provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes throughout Cape May County.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop treatment plans based on evaluations, physician's orders, and recommended goals.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote health, safety, and independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to patient care management and services provided using state-of-the-art technology.
Qualifications:
- Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in New Jersey.
- Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent educational requirements with work experience.
- Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
