About the Role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to perform home health visits in designated territories.
- Location: Nationwide opportunities available
- Clients: Adult and Geriatric patients requiring speech, language, communication, or swallowing support
Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
- Develop a treatment plan based on evaluation results, physician's orders, and recommended goals
- Continually assess and revise the care plan, participating in multidisciplinary care planning as needed
- Educate patients, family members, or representatives on rehabilitative care and activities to promote healthy living
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using state-of-the-art touch pad tablets
Qualifications
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the applicable state
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent qualifications
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
