Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist with BAYADA Home Health Care, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
* Conducting home visits to assess and treat patients
* Developing and implementing individualized care plans
* Educating patients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living
* Working closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
* Performing diagnostic tests and measurements, such as the mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments
* Implementing integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair utilizing evidence-based dressings and topical agents
