Job Description:
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. As an Occupational Therapist with BAYADA, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop personalized plans of care and provide therapies that promote functional independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care and services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes.
- Develop and implement personalized plans of care that promote functional independence and quality of life.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve client-centered goals.
- Provide education and support to clients, family members, and caregivers on care plans and therapies.
- Participate in ongoing evaluation and assessment of patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Qualifications:
- A current PA Occupational Therapist license.
- Prior home care experience preferred but not required.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
