Occupational Therapist Job Description

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a per diem/prn Occupational Therapist for ongoing work in eastern Cecil county.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make home visits to clients and assess their functional status, including muscle function and ADL performance.
• Develop individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes and continually assess and revise the occupational therapy care plan.
• Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote health, safety, and independent living.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided.

Requirements:

• A current MD Occupational Therapist license.
• Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
