Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes, enabling them to remain independent and live safely in their communities. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting diagnostic tests and measurements, developing and implementing individualized care plans, educating clients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living, and accurately documenting client care management and services provided.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a current Maryland Physical Therapist license, a minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist, and graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association. You should also possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
