Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health Visits
About the Role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to support patients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits in designated geographic areas to assess and provide therapeutic interventions for individuals with speech and language needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluations, physician's orders, and recommended goals.
- Educate patients, family members, or other representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using electronic medical records (EMR).
Requirements:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association or have equivalent educational requirements and work experience.
- Strong computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) are preferred.
