BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician I to join our outstanding and compassionate team!
Mental Health Technician II Position Details:
- Facility: BayCare Health System, Asa Residential and Crc South-BH
- Location: Behavioral Health Academy Bldg
- Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
- Shift Hours: 8 hours
- Weekend Work: Every
- On Call: No
The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities:
- Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
- Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.
- Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.
Required Certification/Licensures:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred
- Patient Care Technician - preferred
Required Education:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
Required Experience:
- Nonessential: Healthcare
