Position Details:
- Status: Fulltime
- Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (May Vary)
- Shift Days: Monday thru Friday
- Location: Largo, FL

The Scheduler is responsible for:
- Effectively and efficiently addresses the needs of both internal and external customers when scheduling patients by carefully collecting demographic, insurance, and procedure information.
- Accurately schedule procedures
- Deliver complex clinical examination instructions
- Document patient response to clinical questions
- Keep the patients physician and hospital offices current with information about their scheduled procedures
- Must be familiar with payer guidelines for balancing authorization requirements with scheduled appointment dates.
- Perform general clerical support that includes answering telephones, data entry, communication, and other assigned duties
- Must be flexible and willing to rotate shifts periodically
- Must be able to travel within the BayCare Health System area using personal transportation
Required Education:
- High School or Equivalent
Experience:
- Required 1 year customer service or
- 1 year healthcare
