Technical Specialist in Sterilization and Distribution

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the Sterile Processing Department by monitoring daily activities and implementing efficient processes.
• Identify staff training needs and design programs to enhance their technical skills.
• Assist the department manager in developing and implementing new programs and systems.
• Screens candidates for replacement positions and participates in annual performance and competency evaluations.
• Promote communication and collaboration among staff to enhance end products provided to serviced areas.
• Responsible for proactive quality programs, reporting, goals, and compliance monitoring.
• Acts as preceptor, mentor, and resource in support of department team members.
