Your Tasks And Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role, Manager Customer Engagement Communications are to:
- Support the head of US Pharma Customer Engagement and the CE leadership team in key message development;
- Develop creative internal communications for CE/Field Sales, including video clips, podcasts, and townhall materials;
- Manage vendors for video editing and graphic layout work;
- Ensure successful communication on key business topics, operational model updates, business success stories, and partnerships;
- Collaborate with Product Squads for integrated customer engagement communications;
- Demonstrate strong organization and advanced planning with a communication calendar and end-to-end management of communications;
- Measure success of communication programs and refine initiatives as needed.
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or Business Administration;
- Strategic mindset with success in developing innovative communication strategies in a large, global organization;
- Strong self-starter with experience supporting leadership teams in strategic communications;
- Solid business insight and ability to translate business goals into proactive communication strategies;
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, compelling, and motivating content;
- Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively in various formats;
- Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, valuing inclusion and diversity;
- Ability to travel domestically as needed.
- 8 years of experience in leading and implementing strategic communications programs, preferably within healthcare or pharmaceutical industries;
- Develop a full understanding and integration with Bayer’s organizational structure, mission, vision, and operations;
- Collaborate across all levels of the organization, demonstrating communication expertise;
- Create compelling, visual content for dissemination to USPH CE/field teams;
- Think creatively with technology savvy to generate high reader view rates and content retention;
- Work with a sense of urgency for timely preparation and distribution of communications;
- Manage time effectively to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
