Operations Coordinator - Greenhouse
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Operations Coordinator - Greenhouse, are :
- Oversees operational activities pertaining to delegated areas of expertise; including but not limited to HSE, grower accounting, field operations, plant operations, human resources, accounts payable, procurement, and / or other areas as defined by leadership.
- Builds cross-functional relationships to collaboratively partner with the business and effectively network within the production network;
- Manages payroll process, monitors site attendance, trains new employees, maintains and audits HR records;
- Coordinates the onboarding and offboarding of site employees;
- Independently prioritize key tasks and responsibilities, considering seasonality of business;
- Owns and identifies communication needs to appropriate levels of the organization, including peers, leadership, and internal / external stakeholders to drive strategic and operational efficiencies across operations;
- Influences the development of strategies and plans to ensure strategic roadmaps translate into feasible production plans (i.e. one PSS implementations);
- Partners with key business stakeholders to define business issues and opportunities, highlighting significant areas of spend and continuous improvement;
- Identifies cost savings programs through capturing, reporting, and expanding across the production network to drive savings;
- Troubleshoots IT / Systems issues, enacts the help chain when additional support is needed.
