The primary responsibilities of this role are to :
- Support design, development, and implementation of new sterile disposable product designs utilized in radiology and cardiovascular medical procedures;
- Conduct or support testing in a R&D lab environment to verify concept product designs;
- Research new technologies associated with sterile medical disposable products;
- Support verification / validation testing of production intent products using novel product designs;
- Create various design history file documentation throughout the product development process including technical assessments, test protocols / reports, and various engineering documentation.
- WHO YOU ARE
- Must be in an Engineering major in the following disciplines : Biomedical, Mechanical, or Plastics Must be actively entering into Junior through Graduate year of college;
- Attention to detail, goal seeker, and demonstrated strong work ethic;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools MS Visio, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint;
- Competency in the use of lab equipment Preferred : Experience in 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools (CREO, SolidWorks, etc.).
