Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive HR professional with general understanding of HR best practices and a passion for supporting employees. This role will primarily focus on recruitment, onboarding, administration and other general HR responsibilities.
- Provides general support and guidance to employees related to company policies and guidelines.
- Sources, recruits, interviews, and coordinates with management to facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants, primarily for non-exempt positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings.
- Manages the scheduling of candidate interviews and hiring managers calendars.
- Responsible for onboarding of new employees to create a streamlined new hire experience.
- Responsible for overall general HR specialist tasks; processing offer letters, internal transfers, promotions and maintaining and updating employee records in HRIS system (ADP) ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- May be involved with assisting in compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- May support other HR teammates with adhoc projects as needed.
Education and Qualifications:
- NOTE: Role is based on-site in the St. Petersburg office and candidate will need to be in the office as determined by management.
- Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or qualified work experience in the field of Human Resources
- Prefer candidates with 3 years in Human Resources experience with at least one of them in a recruiting function.
- Proficiency HRIS systems; ADP experience preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Exposure to HR laws and regulations
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM) is a plus.
